Jiří Heřman

Jiří Heřman is a Czech stage director. He studied singing at the Pilsen Conservatory and then opera directing at the Faculty of Music of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prage. He has worked in professional theatre since 2002. Owing to his highly original, consistent and rounded style, possessing in addition to aesthetic qualities a bold spiritual dimension, he soon ranked among the most notable contemporary Czech opera directors.
