Jerzy Gurawski (born 1935), well-known modern Polish architect, found his place in the history of the world theatre thanks to six revolutionary projects for the performances directed by Jerzy Grotowski between 1960 and 1965.
The lecture will take place on June 18th, 4pm - 5.30 pm at Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace.
The lecture by Dariusz Kosiński (Theatre Institute Warsaw) will present the historical genealogies and main ideas of Gurawski's space design together with the analysis of his projects for Grotowski's performances and the interpretation of the installation Post-Apocalypsis designed for the PQ 2015.
Jerzy Gurawski will greet the lecture's participants via skype.
