Oves, Lyubov. Dorrer’s Time

This publication is dedicated to Russian scenographer Valeri Dorrer (1928 –1984), who worked extensively in the fields of theatre, cinema, television, interior design and graphic design. It provides a portrait of the artist and his time. Hundreds of his drawings and sketches have been preserved by Russia's leading museums and private collections. His work has already been displayed at exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Amongst his important contributions as scenographer is his work for the Bolshoi Theatre, which went on tour around the world – although he himself never left Russia.
