Is a scholar, curator and manager in the performing arts field.
After a Phd graduation in Visual and Performing Arts at the Pisa University, she attended the EU training programme SPACE / Performing Arts Managers on the Move (2009-2011), and several international seminars and gatherings, such as the conference “Beyond Curating" at Pact in Essen (2011) and the marathon “Truth is Concrete" at Steirischer Herbst Festival in Graz (2012) and the Spring Meeting at PAF / Performing Arts Forum in St Erme (2013).
She is the author of two books and numerous papers and essays about the XX Century and contemporary performing arts scene, focusing specially about the dimension of collective creation and collaborative practices. Furthermore, she supervised diverse critical and curatorial projects, in collaboration with art organizations and public institutions (Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione and Ente Teatrale Italiano among others).
Since 2011 she is Adjoint Professor at Bocconi University in Milan, where she teaches Methodology, Critique and Research in the Arts / History of Theatre and Performing Arts Management.
From 2008 to 2011 she has been working for the theatre company Societas Raffaello Sanzio and has been part of the Critical-organizational Committee of Santarcangelo Festival, directed by Chiara Guidi/Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, Enrico Casagrande/Motus and Ermanna Montanari/Teatro delle Albe.
Since November 2011 she is the artistic director of Santarcangelo Festival.
